Little "J"

I got to play with the sweetest little newborn boy today! His Mommy was so cool about letting me do whatever I wanted with him! Thank you, Mommy!
Little "J" slept the entire time I was there. He peeped his little eyes open once or twice just to see who was moving him around but other than that, he was unphased by my presence. He got comfy no matter how I posed him.

Here are just a few of my favorites. I apologize in advance for the picture overload. He's just too cute not to plaster all over my blog!

Pets

We are a "pet family." We love animals. Between my husband and I, we've had just about every farm animal. It's only fitting that we allow our children to experience pets too.

We have two dogs; Claudia and Gator, tons of fish and yesterday, I got a bunny. She's the sweetest little thing. Unlike any other rabbit that I've met, she likes to be held. I adopted her from a vet tech. She's a year old which is perfect because she's already been trained. She's so friendly that I think I might even be able to take her out for pictures in the Spring.

Meet my Lacy Lou.

She had to pop up to see what was going on.

As you can see, the kids love her and she thinks that they are pretty neat too.

I have a session with a Maltipoo tomorrow. I'm excited.

My little buddy

You may remember my little buddy,"N." He's the one in the cowboy hat in a previous entry. His Mommy is one of my friends. Well, I was able to spend some more time with "N" last week. I took my camera thinking that I would get some good pictures. Hmm? I must have forgotten how busy 19 month olds are. This is the one picture that I was able to get. What a stinker.

N's Mommy is on bedrest. His baby sister is due in two months and she's threatening to break out a little early. I think that N and I will have a few more playdates between now and his baby sister's arrival (hopefully in two months!). I am eager to play again and he's eager to ride in my big truck.

Something different

I got a new lens (yay!) and I was bored yesterday so I decided to try it out. I took a little walk around my property and this is what I found :-)

My butterflies loves these bright pentas. I think that they are pretty too.

Thanks to Fay, it rained most of the day yesterday. You can see the raindrops that hung around in this picture.

A bottlebrush from my bottlebrush tree. There was a bug hiding just under the leaves. He was camera shy.

The sweetest thing I stumbled upon.. My hubby.

And... the view from my kitchen window.

Operation: Love ReUnited

I had the honor of doing a family session for a Soldier that is deploying to Afghanistan soon. This is not his first deployment and I'm sure that it's not going to be his last. He's very dedicated to serving our Country. I am proud to know him. I hope that he knows that I am very sincere when I thank him for all that he does.

He has a beautiful family! Here are just a few pictures from their session.
