Just precious

I looked out the window as my youngest son was playing and saw the most precious sight. He was swinging two of his favorite stuffed animals on the tire swing. He was explaining that they had to take turns. I couldn't resist grabbing the camera for some snapshots.

Hold on tight, Fluffy!

Fluffy was rescued from the treasure box at school. He's a reindeer.

Fluffy waits while Ted E. Bear gets a turn. Ted has been around since Brent was a baby.
Just making sure that Ted is safe.

Awesome Family!

I had the priviledge of taking portraits for the Meagher Family yesterday. The are Missionaries in India and are here to spread the news about all of the great things that God is doing in India. They have an awesome school and orphanage over there. Last year they had just under 200 students and the government has just opened a huge housing unit behind them. In one day, just before they left to come here, they had 300 additional student enrolled. If you'd like more information about their organization, please check out http://www.thejesusway.org/. Their ministry is truly awesome!

Here are some photos of this awesome family:

This is just so stinking cute.

I have a newborn session tomorrow. Stay tuned for baby pictures!

I'm purple

It's funny that purple has been my favorite color since I was a little girl. I actually prefer lavender. I never would have guessed that this would be my personality though. It's really amusing when I recall what my own Mother said when she found out that I was the one that drove my Dad to the hospital the night of my Brother's accident. She was astonished that I made it there with all of us in one peice because after all, I am the weak one! I am certainly NOT weak. I held it together that night and I've continued to do so for the last 2+ years. I don't blame her for saying that though. I do have panic attacks when something bad happens to the ones that I love so I can see why she would think that I wouldn't be strong enough to make it to the hospital. It's amazing the strength that you can find when you focus on God.
Go see what color you are!

You are most like:

You are Purple

You are vibrant and strong, and often associated with royalty. Your power may cause other a little discomfort at time, but only because they are weaker than you.

Go Marlins!!

It seems that we eat, sleep and breathe baseball these days. We thought that we would have a week off until earlier this week when the coach's wife called to let us know that this weekend is an in season tournement. Last night was the first game. I missed it because the "little ones" had a carinval at their school. I was there for the first game today though and what a great game it was! They played the Rays and won 8-3. Way to go, Guys!

You know I had my camera out there. I remembered that but forgot my sunscreen, Ouch! here are some shots from the game.

My son, Forrest, trying to avoid the ball that hit him in the head. Thank goodness they wear helmets!

Run Tyler, Run!

I'm just not sure how to label these last three, LOL!

The last one has nothing at all to do with baseball. It's just a picture of my little girl having a chat with her Daddy.

What is a storyboard?

Someone asked what a storyboard is. Well, it's a fancy name for a collage. I make them in Photoshop CS3. To say that I am addicted to Photoshop would be an understatement. There is always so much more to learn and do in Photoshop. I think that is what I love about it.

Here are a few more storyboards:

More of Sweet Emily

I decided to make a few storyboards for Miss Emily this morning. She is so precious. I hope that she knows just how tightly she has her Aunt Stephanie wrapped around her little finger. I hope that all of my nieces and nephews know just how loved they are by me. You can click the pictures for a larger view.

Baby Emily

I had the great honor of taking my brand new neice's pictures last week. She is so sweet (as sweet as her brothers and sisters) and already has me wrapped around her cute little finger. She lives out of State so I'm not sure when we'll get to have our next session. I miss her sweet smiles already!
