Princess "E"

I finally got a call from "Daddy" yesterday afternoon to tell me that Princess "E" is here. Mommy was so, so sick and Princess "E" was having some trouble with fluid in her airway but all is well today.

Princess "E" weighed in at 7lbs 14.5oz and she's 21inches long. She is so very precious! I loved every second that I spent with her today. I think that I heard her whisper, "I love you" as I was leaving. I love you, too, Princess "E." I can hardly wait to see your Big Brother with you.

Look at all of this perfection!

And, all of that hair!

She loves the hat and cocoon that Aunt Stephie made for her.

Mommy loves her Princess!
And, Granny loves both of her girls!
I'll see you all in a few days.

Cute Babies

Well, it seems that we have determined the winners of the Cute Baby Contest. I will have some of my fellow photographers determine 1st, 2nd and 3rd places to make it a bit more fair.

Speaking of cute babies... I am anxiously awaiting a text message or phone call to announce the birth of my buddy's sister. I know that she is here but Dad and Mom must have better things to do than contact this anxious Auntie! The C-section was scheduled for 11am so hopefully they will be settled into the Mother/Baby unit soon. I'll be visiting both of them tomorrow. Yeah!

Oh, and never fear. I have not forgotten about the other loves in my life. I had Miss CC on Friday and that was heaven. She was such a good little girl. She didn't cry at all and she only stuck her tongue out at me once. She actually behaved much better than the other four children in my house do. Hmm?

Here are some pictures from Friday. We played dress up!

I've been MIA

I often wonder if any one reads this blog because I rarely get comments. Get busy, distracted, or whatever may keep you away from the blog and you'll find out exactly how many people read your blog. They prefer to pick up the phone to comment though. Oy vey!

So, I've been a bit distracted. Many of you received an email from me, late Wednesday evening regarding a prayer request for my sweet CC. Thanks for praying. She did not require surgery after all. It appears that there was not a blockage during the second ultrasound. She's doing fine now and resting in the only place that she sleeps... her swing! Dad and Mom are as relieved (if not more so) that we all are. They are trying to catch up on some rest and recover from the false alarm. They asked me to please relay their appreciation of your prayers and support. Miss CC is going to keep us on our toes. It appears that Aunt Stephie may need to threaten her with the wooden paddle. Hmmm?

And, here is my other distraction. My new baby. She is so sweet and funny. Her name is Reese but I should have named her distraction. I have all sorts of names that I call her though. Just ask my friend, Lauren. I often call her my baby fufu. I've also been known to call her trouble maker, brat, and several other names.

Here's my little fufu:

Lots of Fun

I purposely scheduled this past weekend off because we were having our Daughter's birthday party. It was the first weekend that I have had off in weeks!

It started Friday evening as I helped our local Foster/Adopt association (http://www.pascofapa.com/) move donations over to the location of their Family Fun Day that was held on Saturday. That was neat as I was able to work together with other families that have the same basic interest and goals for our community's children as we do.

Saturday morning, we got up slowly and headed over to the Family Fun Day. It was truly an outstanding event. There was a small flea market (they were calling it a yard sale but it was huge!), food and lots of fun. We ran into lots of people that we knew from our MAPP classes. We were able to catch up with them briefly and that was neat.

Saturday afternoon was our daughter's birthday party. It was a fun time with screaming girls, games, gifts and food. My little buddy was even there. We have this mutal love. I love him and he loves my truck. In an effort to gain his love for me, I let him sit on my lap and steer the truck from the park (50 yards) down our dirt drive. He was so excited that he honked the horn a few times. The verdict is out on whether or not he loves me any more for it..

Speaking of my buddy. His baby sister could be here any day. Mommy goes in for a version (to try to turn the baby) on Monday. She has mixed emotions about this but she's doing it for my buddy. So, please pray that the version works and that she has this baby soooooon! We're praying that the water breaks during the version. Haha! Prayers for safety, very little pain and success would be greatly appreciated. I think it's safe to say that this little girl is going to be a spit fire. Heaven help us all!

Meet Miss M

I started my day yesterday by playing with this little sweetie. She is such a Daddy's girl. I know exactly how her Mommy feels. I truly enjoyed playing with her and look forward to more in the future!

Thanks for playing with me, sweetie.

Happy 16th Birthday Madison!

Last night I had the great pleasure of attending Madison's 16th Birthday party. She is truly an amazing young lady. She is beautiful inside and out. You can see God's love shining brightly through her.
Madison, I hope that your birthday party was just what you hoped that it would be. I had so much fun at your party. Here is a little sneak peek. I will work very hard to get the rest of your photos up by the end of the week. Enjoy these for now.

Sweet Miss "O"

Just a quick surprise sneak peek for Miss "O's" Mommy. I am running out the door to the party in just a few minutes but I wanted to get these up for her.

Thanks again for playing with me today. I am looking forward to doing it again soon!

An evening in my home

I joke a lot about having five children. My husband is rarely serious. He's a great Father. He is strict when he needs to be but he is constantly playing with the kids. This Saturday, he will have all four children all by himself all day long. I didn't hesitate for a second when I booked my entire day. I know that he will be just fine with the kids. Others have questioned how he'll get by. The answer is; just like he always does. We're in this together!

This is how he entertains the boys:
As you can see, he's very hands' on (please don't look at the window that was splashed just before this pic was taken!)
Ashley feels the same way that I do obviously. LOL!

No children were harmed. They were just having fun :-)

Life is GOOD!

I am fairly certain that I have officially entered my busy season. My calendar is bursting at the seams and I am so happy to be busy, busy, busy! I love that I have been blessed in that I can do what I love!

You probably remember Gator. I took his pictures about a month ago. Well, he has a new sister. Her name is Hannah. Mommy asked me to come back and do more photos with both of her babies. They are so cute.

Remember how serious Mr. E was a few weeks ago? Well, we rescheduled for last week and this is the result. He was his happy little self again.

I will be doing portraits at Little Achievers this Friday followed by a two Cute Baby sessions Friday and Saturday. On Saturday evening I am covering a Sweet 16 party. Yay!
