My little buddy

You may remember my little buddy,"N." He's the one in the cowboy hat in a previous entry. His Mommy is one of my friends. Well, I was able to spend some more time with "N" last week. I took my camera thinking that I would get some good pictures. Hmm? I must have forgotten how busy 19 month olds are. This is the one picture that I was able to get. What a stinker.

N's Mommy is on bedrest. His baby sister is due in two months and she's threatening to break out a little early. I think that N and I will have a few more playdates between now and his baby sister's arrival (hopefully in two months!). I am eager to play again and he's eager to ride in my big truck.

Something different

I got a new lens (yay!) and I was bored yesterday so I decided to try it out. I took a little walk around my property and this is what I found :-)


My butterflies loves these bright pentas. I think that they are pretty too.



Thanks to Fay, it rained most of the day yesterday. You can see the raindrops that hung around in this picture.

Operation: Love ReUnited

I had the honor of doing a family session for a Soldier that is deploying to Afghanistan soon. This is not his first deployment and I'm sure that it's not going to be his last. He's very dedicated to serving our Country. I am proud to know him. I hope that he knows that I am very sincere when I thank him for all that he does.

He has a beautiful family! Here are just a few pictures from their session.

I had the pleasure of playing with "Z" again yesterday. She is one of my baby plan members. It seems like I was just taking her newborn pictures yesterday. Has it really been three months?

Not only did I get to play with "Z" but her little BFF "A" was there too. The idea was to get portraits of the two of them together. Hmmm? Maybe we'll just have to try that again later.

Vacation pictures

I decided to just put all of my vacation pictures in one slideshow. Enjoy!

Home Sweet Home

We got home late last night and I could hardly wait to start processing all of the pictures. I have over 300 to wade through. I've gotten through several of them but it's time to take a break and get some food in this house.




We went to The Great Smokey Mountains. We started out in North Carolina and ended up in Pigeon Forge, TN. We had lots of fun camping at Deep Creek but for me, it's always nice to spend time in the comforts of the resort.
