So, the highlight of our weekend was getting two baby ducks. Of course, they are for the sole purpose of taking Spring Portraits but they will be very pretty adults swimming round in the canal out back. Thankfully, these guys came in and we were able to pick them up Saturday morning. It truthfully was the highlight of our weekend. Sad, but very true!If you are a personal friend or even a client, you know how much I love my truck. It died Friday afternoon and has yet to be resurrected. I am a spoiled wife so normally all I need to do is mention that something is broken and my hubby fixes it. Unfortunately, my sweet hubby is unfamiliar with diesel engines and apparently so is our star mechanic. My hubby has poured hours of time into trying to diagnose and remedy the ailment to no avail. Last night, he gave up, pulled up a chair and we watched ducks. They went from their two duck hot tub (their water bowl beneath a light) to their food dish and back. It was very entertaining. That should tell you just how bad the weekend was.My truck is on it's way to the mechanic as I type. It was the saddest thing to watch the tow truck driver load it onto the flat bed. Hopefully it will be purring again very soon. Here are the baby ducks. Aren't they cute?

It's been another one of those crazy weeks. I think that this will continue at least through baseball season. Yay!Mr. B had a game last night where he proved just how tough he is by taking a ball to the face. That was NOT fun for Mom to watch. Thankfully he is perfectly fine. He scored the game ball for his injury. He was so happy about that! Tonight, I reluctantly stayed home with the younger kiddos as the oldest had a late game. You would know that I missed a big home run hit! This Momma has connections though. A great friend was sure to call me, followed by my husband. This is a huge deal for my big guy. I am so proud of him!On Tuesday, I had little Miss CC again. I can't believe how fast she is growing up. She can sit for a few seconds unassisted now and I am confident that if she really tried she could roll herself from place to place. In just a few very short months she'll be running around chasing bunnies. I can wait! She's just too snuggly right now. I don't want to give that up and I know that her Mommy doesn't either.Check little Miss CC out! We'll have lots more pictures this weekend! yay!

And, speaking of cutie booties... check out my new baby! She is so sweet and loving. She loves to be held, and loved and kissed. I officially gave in and named her Snowball tonight. Mr. B who is holding her here has wanted Snowball from the second that he heard of her and after taking a poll on Myspace, Snowball it is!
Look at those pretty blue eyes!
So, that is my eventful update. Cross your fingers for an uneventful bonding of bunnies. Fufu still isn't quite sure what she should do with Snowball. After the traumatic experience that Elle and I had with Lacy and Penelope, I'm scared to let Fufu get close to the baby. I'm thinking that Elle may need to come over next week and help bunny sit. In the meantime, I'm taking Fufu into the baby's room for short visits. She hops on top of her cage, and tries stuffing her nose through the slats in the cage. It's really quite comical. I'll keep you all posted on the bunny bonding!
Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.
I NOT excited to finally be participating in NOT Me! Monday after missing three weeks of it! Not that I need to participate or anything.I did not find myself laughing hysterically at my seven year old son at the ball field on Friday night. I would never laugh as he proceeded to put a true bully in his place. I did not find it funny that a little seven year old would send a big ten year old crying to his Mother. Being vertically challenged myself, I did not at all find it funny that this little seven year old was offended by being called a Midget. That little midget sure went after his offender. I most certainly did not laugh again last night as we were chatting about this situation. I told the seven year old that he cannot hit someone just because they offend him with words. His response? "I didn't hit him. I just tripped him." I have not been torturing my poor bunny with wagons and baskets in preparation for Easter pictures and she most certainly would never give me dirty looks. We love each other too much for that. On Saturday when my 14 year old asked to stay just one more night with his best friend, I did not offer to give his best friend's parents (who are very good friends of our's) custody so that they could just keep him. I would never do that! That child is just as obedient and helpful around our house as he is at their's!I also did not take a step stool with us to the ball field on Saturday so that I could see over the fence to take pictures. I am not vertically challenged and I never take pictures! I am not at all considering taking that stool every time we go to the field. It's not in the bed of my truck as we speak!I am not at all excited to be going to the Tots 2 Teens Tour tonight! I never get excited about a girls night out and I would most certainly would not be excited about meeting Sandy Puc and hanging out with Donna! No way!
