What a Cutie

It's not often that I get a chance to work with boys (other than my own) so when I do, I really enjoy it. I had so much fun with this little guy today. He is just so cute.

My Girlie Girl

I've been playing around with my studio lighting so I needed a model. My girl is always ready to model for me. These are really just snapshots but she's so cute, I couldn't resist sharing.

Another newborn

I'm just loving these sweet babies. This is Zoey. She's the calmest, sweetest, most agreeable baby that I've ever met. She didn't really cry for the entire two hours that I spent with her! We took her clothes off and she couldn't have cared less. I can't wait to do her three month session!

Girls

I wasn't sure that I would ever have a daughter. I had resigned myself to being a Mom of boys when I gave birth to my youngest son. My husband and I lost a baby girl before she was born so I felt like that was my last chance at being a Mom of a girl.

That all changed two years ago this month. My husband approached me with the idea of adopting a daughter. Our lives haven't been the same since. I love our daughter just as much as I love my sons and I couldn't love them any more. My boys are still my pride and joy. They will always be special to their Momma. I certainly have my share of protectors.

The adoption process was a roller coaster to say the least but the end result couldn't have been any better. I'll have to share the details with you in another blog entry. For today though, I want to share one of the things that I love most (there are so many more!) about having a daughter....

And, that is having my daughter's friends. My girl has no problem making friends. I kid you not. She could talk the knot off of a tree. :)A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of doing a very special photo session for one of her friends. I think she may even be her sweetest friend. What a sweet girl.

Sugar

Last Tuesday evening I looked out the window and saw my family with a small white dog. My immediate thought was, "I don't know where it came from but it is NOT staying!" That was until I met her.

I have been looking for the owner of this sweet baby ever since. I think she has found a new home. We're all in love with this little angel. She has no bad habits whatsoever. She's the sweetest thing with the best personality.

The kids have named her Sugar. I think it's appropriate. I took these pics the night that we found her.
